Mussels Starter

Ingredients (for 2ppl):

Main Ingredients:

  • 200g Mussels
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Splash dry white wine
  • Lug of olive oil

Utensils:

  • Saucepan

Instructions

Prepare (3min):

  1. Rinse and discard mussels that won't close
  2. Cut garlic into thin slices

Cooking (5min):

  1. Cook mussels with a splash of water for 2 minutes until open
  2. Take mussels out, and take off one side of each mussel shell (so each mussel sits inside one half of a shell)
  3. Put each shell in the bottom of a large pan, add one slice of garlic per mussel and turn up heat
  4. Add olive oil and a splash of wine, cook for 2 minutes
