Seafood Pasta

Ingredients (for 2ppl):

Main Ingredients:

  • 400g king prawns
  • Optional: muscles/langoustines/squid/etc
  • Passata
  • 100g Pasta per person
  • 1 x clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 x basil leaf

Goes Well With:

  • Salad

Utensils:

  • Saucepan

Instructions

Prepare (5min):

  1. Remove prawns shells/legs

Cooking (30min):

  1. Add some oil to the pan, add crushed garlic and stir for 1 minute until golden brown
  2. Add prawns (and optional seafood) and cook for 1-2 minutes or until prawns are all pink, then remove the prawns from the saucepan
  3. Add in Pasata and a little water and the basil leaf, put on a lid and ocassionaly stir for 20 minutes
  4. Put pasta on and cook as per instructions, to be ready at the same time as the sauce above
  5. Put the seafood back in the sauce for 2 minutes, strain pasta and pour into saucepan too, toss and serve
