Basil Pesto

Ingredients:

Main Ingredients:

  • 50g Basil
  • 15g parmigiano cheese
  • 20g nuts
  • 60ml olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Utensils:

  • Blender
  • Frying pan

Instructions

Prepare (10min):

  1. Toast the pine nuts lightly (3 mins)
  2. Wash basil and dry
  3. Grate cheese, juice lemon and measure remaining ingredients
  4. Add to blender in the following order: basil, garlic, olive oil, cheese, pine nuts and lemon juice, salt and blend (med then high)
