Chinese Sea Bream
Ingredients (for 2ppl):
Main Ingredients:
- 2 Sea bass fillets
- Scallion - about 3, white parts whole and green parts sliced julienne
- Ginger - a few chunky slices
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- water or mirin
- Vegetable oil
Goes Well With:
- Stir fried vegetables
Utensils:
- Saucepan
Instructions
Prepare (2 mins):
- Put white parts of spring onion and sliced ginger in dish in steamer
- Put some vegetable oil in a seperate pan
Cooking (6 mins):
- Lay on fish, brush with oil and steam for (5 mins)
- Meanwhile, julliene the green parts of spring onion and some ginger
- Add soya sauce, sugar, sesame oil and a dash of water and mix in a saucer
- Heat up some vegetable oil really hot
- Plate fish, put on julliene veggies, pour on soya sauce and pour over the hot oil
